In Your Corner Behavioral Health and Wellness Serves the Community at Community Impact Day

Local Mental Health Practice Provides Screenings and Resources to Hundreds at Gilbert Event

In Your Corner Behavioral Health and Wellness was proud to participate in Community Impact Day, held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Redemption Church in Gilbert, Arizona. The event drew more than 300 attendees from across the community, creating a powerful opportunity for local organizations to come together and serve those around them.

Throughout the day, the In Your Corner team provided mental health screenings to dozens of individuals and connected many more with valuable mental health resources at their table. For many attendees, the event offered a welcoming, low-barrier entry point to learn about behavioral health services and take a meaningful step toward getting support.

"Events like Community Impact Day remind us why we do this work. When we can meet people in their own community — in a space that already feels safe and familiar — conversations about mental health become so much more accessible. We were moved by how many people stopped by, asked questions, and took that first step. That's what it's all about." — Alicia Shields, PMHNP-BC, Owner, In Your Corner Behavioral Health and Wellness

Community Impact Day reflects a growing movement across the East Valley to address mental health openly and proactively. By showing up at community events like this one, In Your Corner continues its mission to reduce stigma, increase awareness, and ensure that every person who needs support knows that help is available and within reach.

In Your Corner Behavioral Health and Wellness remains dedicated to making mental health care accessible and approachable for individuals and families throughout the greater Phoenix area. For more information about available services, visit www.inyourcorneraz.com or call 480-581-9020.

In Your Corner Behavioral Health and Wellness Joined Bada Bling Cupcakes' 3rd Birthday Bash

Local Mental Health Practice Brought Wellness Services to One of Arizona's Sweetest Celebrations

In Your Corner Behavioral Health and Wellness was proud to participate in the Bada Bling Cupcakes 3rd Birthday Bash, held on February 28, 2026. The event celebrated three years of Bada Bling Cupcakes delighting the Valley with their award-winning treats, and In Your Corner was honored to be part of the festivities.

Guests at the birthday bash had the opportunity to stop by the In Your Corner Behavioral Health and Wellness table to learn about the practice's services, ask questions, and pick up resources on mental health and wellness, get a wellness IV and Vitamin B Injection. The team was on hand to connect with community members in a welcoming, low-pressure environment — because mental health conversations are always better with cupcakes.

"We are always looking for opportunities to meet people where they are. An event like this — joyful, community-centered, and open to everyone — is exactly the kind of setting where we love to show up and let people know that support is available." — Alicia Shields, PMHNP-BC, Owner, In Your Corner Behavioral Health and Wellness

The celebration also shone a well-deserved spotlight on Bada Bling Cupcakes, a beloved Arizona staple that has been serving the Valley since 2010. Voted Best Cupcake in Arizona and famous for their extraordinary frosting, Bada Bling has built a loyal following across the Phoenix metro area.
